Sheā€™s had visions of his death her entire life. Now sheā€™s racing against time to stop them from coming true.

Mia Dawson has always known that love would come at a devastating price. Haunted by vivid premonitions of a man sheā€™s never met dying in a violent explosion, Mia has spent years running from relationships, too terrified to let anyone in. When she crosses paths with Sage Cole, a military special operator with a dangerous past, she realizes with gut-wrenching certainty that heā€™s the man from her visionsā€”the man sheā€™s destined to lose.

Drawn together by an undeniable connection, Mia tries to keep Sage at armā€™s length, knowing that falling in love with him means watching him die. But the more she fights it, the stronger their bond becomes. And just as Mia fears, Sage is pulled into a high-stakes mission that echoes her terrifying premonitions.

As the lines between fate and free will blur and both their lives hang in the balance, Mia and Sage must confront the ultimate question: Is their love destined to end in tragedy? Should Mia trust her visions or fight to change them?

Whatā€™s Left to Burn will leave you breathless until its shocking end. This emotionally charged, high-stakes romantic drama explores themes of love, loss, and the choices that shape our destinies. Perfect for fans of Rebecca Yarros, Jojo Moyes, Jill Santopolo, and Kristin Hannah.

Look Inside

Prologue
Mia

Iā€™ve seen him die a thousand times.

In my dreams, the air always smells like burning, acrid smoke curling around us, suffocating. The heat presses in, and thereā€™s nothing I can do. Itā€™s always the same. The explosion. The fire. And himā€”his body crumpling, his life slipping away, just out of my reach.

I can scream and I can cry, but nothing changes. The flames take him every time.

For as long as I can remember, this dream has haunted me. At first, it was just flashesā€”smoke, fire, the outline of a man I didnā€™t know. Over the years, the vision became clearer, more real. I could see the sweat on his brow and the desperation in his eyes. I could feel the panic in my chest, knowing that no matter how hard I tried to hold on to him, I would always lose.

Itā€™s why I never let anyone get close. How could I? Whoever he was, he was out there somewhere, and he was destined to die. Loving him meant accepting that I would lose him.

Then I met him. Sage.

The first time our eyes met, my heart stopped. Not just because of a romantic connection, but because I knew. Deep down in my bones, I knew he was the man from my dreams. The one Iā€™d spent my entire life running from. The man I was destined to loveā€”and lose.

Every instinct in my body screamed at me to walk away. To protect myself. I couldnā€™t. It was like gravity pulled me toward him, even knowing how this story would end.

Because thatā€™s the thing about fate. It doesnā€™t care if youā€™re ready. It doesnā€™t care if youā€™re strong enough to handle the heartbreak. Fate comes for you anyway, like fire, burning through everything you thought you knew.

And now? Now Iā€™m standing at the edge, the flames licking at my feet, wondering how much longer I have before it all comes crashing down.

Before heā€™s gone.

Again.

Good story, great characters

This is a great story with the past that comes to the present when two people men. Mia had a horrible car accident when young and dreams of the fire and the man who pulled her out of it. Sage lost his father when he was working. Both of them had demons in the past. Then they meet and feel a pull which they cannot ignore. Unfortunately, they both have issues they have to deal with in order to move ahead with their relationship. The story line is good, the characters are well written and I was hoping for the best for Mia and Sage. Good read.

What's Left to Burn - Loved it!

Absolutely BRILLIANT!
Itā€™s not often Iā€™m caught off guard like this, but I honestly did not see how this book was going to wrap up as more than a beautiful love story. But knowing this Author, I knew something was coming and I just had to be patient. And Wow, I was not disappointed, it literally took my breath away. So when I finished the book, I wasnā€™t sure how I would be able to express myself in a review and do it justice without spoiling it so I really had to give it some thought, so here goesā€¦
Mia had visions of Sageā€™s death her entire life. Now sheā€™s racing against time to stop it from coming true. I absolutely loved this storyline, it was very well written and held my interest from start to finish. Iā€™m not usually one who brings in quotes from a story, but absolutely couldnā€™t resist in this case. ā€œHis strong arms tightened around me, pulling me closer, as if he wanted to merge our very souls.ā€ ā€œThere was nothing but us, sinking deeper into an embrace that felt like the answer to every question I had ever asked about love.ā€ I love this. So deep and meaningful. Such a great story! Sometimes a book introduces us to a life lesson and reminds us we just have to take a leap of faith. This book will take you on a beautiful journey, all the while leading you towards a brilliant ending that is so unique and unexpected it will literally take your breath away. I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed.
